Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Tidbit subscriptions. It applies once paid plans are active; during the invite-only beta the Service is free and no charges apply.

1. Subscriptions and billing

Paid Tidbit plans are offered as recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis and renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Any usage-based charges are billed in arrears for the period in which they were incurred.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time by:

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period, and it will not renew after that. You will not be charged another subscription fee once a cancellation is in effect.

3. Refunds

Because subscriptions provide continuous access, monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period. However, we want customers to be treated fairly. We will issue a refund of a subscription charge when:

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Usage-based charges that reflect services already delivered are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend access until the balance is paid. Subscriptions that remain unpaid may be cancelled.

5. Price changes

We will give advance notice of any change to subscription pricing. Changes take effect on your next billing period, and continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Billing contact

For any billing, cancellation, or refund question, email our billing team at nibble@usetidbit.ai and we will respond promptly.
